FAQ

Are there times when the transponder's signal is not picked-up? Why does this happen?

Our state-of-the-art electronic tolling system is over 99.9% accurate. However, if the transponder signal is missed, it may be due to the following:

  • The transponder battery is low or dead, and needs to be exchanged
  • The transponder isn’t mounted on the windshield
  • The transponder is shared between vehicles
  • The vehicle has a metalized windshield

When you exit the highway you will hear four beeps to indicate a successful recording of your trip. If your transponder doesn’t beep, that is okay. As long as your plate and transponder belong to the same account and you mount your transponder 5 to 10 cm from the top of your windshield, no action is required.
